Buckler

Beer Description

Buckler was launched by Heineken in 1988 as a major low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beer brand. It was created to offer lager-style refreshment without full alcohol strength, while keeping the Heineken name separate from the label in several markets. The brand became especially notable in Dutch beer history because of its public visibility and later reputation, but it remained part of Heineken’s broader international no-alcohol development. Within the archive, Buckler represents an important early step toward mainstream alcohol-free beer culture.
