Beer Description

Krušovice 10 is the session lager of the Royal Brewery of Krušovice — one of the oldest Czech breweries, founded in 1581 and elevated to royal status in 1583 when Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II purchased it after being captivated by its beer during a hunt in the area. Brewed at 10.3° Plato and 4.2% ABV, it is a classic Czech light lager (světlé) using Žatec (Saaz) hops from the famous Czech hop region, water from the Křivoklát forests, and selected Czech and Moravian barley. Heineken acquired the brewery from the Radeberger Group in 2007. The recipe has been passed down through 28 brewmasters over more than 400 years.
