Krušovice 12° (Ležák)

Beer Description

Krušovice 12 is the flagship premium lager of the Royal Brewery of Krušovice, brewed at 12.3° Plato to 5.0% ABV. Also marketed internationally as Krušovice Lager or Krušovice Imperial. Uses noble Žatec (Saaz) hops, water from the Křivoklát forests and selected Czech and Moravian barley. The brewery was founded in 1581 and acquired by Heineken in 2007. The recipe has been passed down through 28 brewmasters. Exported widely across Europe and beyond. The Imperial Crown of Austria — part of the brewery's logo since Rudolf II's purchase in 1583 — appears on every bottle.
