Krušovice Černé

Beer Description

Krušovice Černé (meaning 'Black') is the dark lager from the Royal Brewery of Krušovice, brewed at 9.7° Plato and 3.8% ABV using dark caramel malt alongside the brewery's standard Žatec hops and Křivoklát forest water. Lighter in body and alcohol than most dark lagers, it offers a smooth caramel and roasted malt character with gentle bitterness. Founded in 1581, the brewery has been part of Heineken Czech Republic since 2007. Krušovice Černé is one of the few surviving mainstream Czech dark lagers (tmavé pivo) still brewed to traditional style.
