Beer Description

Kunstmann Brewery was founded in 1997 in Torobayo, Valdivia, Chile by Armin Kunstmann, drawing on the family's German-Chilean heritage. CCU (Compañía Cervecerías Unidas) acquired 80% of Kunstmann, making it a CCU subsidiary. Heineken holds a 50% stake in IRSA, which controls 65.87% of CCU — giving Heineken an indirect economic stake of approximately 26% in Kunstmann. Torobayo is the brewery's flagship pale ale, named after the Valdivia suburb where it is brewed.
