Oedipus Pilsner

Oedipus Pilsner is the result of three years of research and experiments at the Oedipus Brewery in Amsterdam Noord — documented in the brewery's internal Lager Lager Lager series before the final recipe was confirmed. A German-style pilsner brewed with traditional German and Czech hop varieties and 100% pilsner malt for a pleasant body. Bottom-fermented for a clean and crisp character, lightly dry-hopped to give it subtle grassy and citrus aromas. The pilsner represents an unexpected departure for a brewery famous for its highly experimental and flavour-forward ales — but demonstrates Oedipus's commitment to mastering every style with the same care. Heineken acquired a minority stake in Oedipus in 2019 and took full ownership in June 2023.
