Oedipus Polyamorie

Oedipus Polyamorie — Dutch for polyamory — is a mango sour pale ale from the Oedipus Brewery in Amsterdam Noord, combining the brewery's passion for tropical hops, sour beer tradition and fresh mango into one uniquely Amsterdam creation. Brewed with water, malted barley, malted wheat, oat flakes, hops and mango at 5% ABV. The name and the beer both reflect Oedipus's philosophy of openness, inclusivity and the refusal to be defined by a single category — just as polyamory refuses to be limited to one love, the beer refuses to be limited to one style. Drawing on the Berlin wheat sour tradition and American tropical hop character, it is described as a wonderful collision of the old and new beer worlds. Heineken acquired Oedipus through a 2019 minority stake and took full ownership in June 2023.
