Oedipus Strip

Oedipus Strip is a 5% witbier brewed in collaboration with the SkateCafe Amsterdam — a neighbour of the Oedipus Brewery in the Hamerkwartier district of Amsterdam Noord. The beer is described as an ode to the energy, vibrance and sense of community that defines the Hamerkwartier — one of Amsterdam's most creative and culturally diverse neighbourhoods. A relatively dry witbier with hoppy citrus notes and fresh orange peel, with just enough spice from green pepper to keep things interesting. Strip continues Oedipus's tradition of community-rooted brewing — making beers that belong to specific places and people as much as to a style. Oedipus entered the Heineken portfolio through a 2019 minority stake and became fully Heineken-owned in June 2023.
