Parbo Stout

Beer Description

PARBO Stout is brewed by Surinaamse Brouwerij N.V. in Paramaribo, Suriname. The brewery was founded in 1954 by brothers Pieter and Arthur Dumoleyn with support from Amstel Brewery, which was acquired by Heineken in 1968. Parbo Stout was introduced in 1954 alongside Parbo Bier and won a Prix d'Excellence a few years after launch. At 6% ABV it is the market leader of the stout segment in Suriname, brewed with several types of malt giving it a unique and full-bodied taste. Surinaamse Brouwerij is a Heineken subsidiary and also exports beer to French Guiana and Guyana.
