Pélican Rouge

Beer Description

Pélican Rouge is the cherry-flavoured variant of the relaunched Pélican range from Heineken France, introduced alongside Pélican Blonde in 2023. Brewed at the historic Brasserie du Pélican in Mons-en-Barœul, it is a non-filtered top-fermented beer at 7.5% ABV flavoured with griotte cherry. The brand traces its origins to the Brasserie du Pélican founded in 1921 in Lille and acquired by Heineken in 1986. The Retournez-Savourez ritual applies: gently invert before opening to activate the yeast sediment.
