Texels Jutters Bock

Beer Description

Texels Jutters Bock is an autumnal Bockbier from Texelse Bierbrouwerij in Oudeschild, Texel. Named after de Jutter — the beachcomber who searches the Texel shores after storms — it is a seasonal beer brewed with three types of cara-malt and roasted barley malt for a deep ruby-red colour and caramel character. At 7% ABV it is the strongest regular seasonal in the Texels range. A small amount of yeast in the bottle gives it a rich and creamy mouthfeel. Texels Jutters Bock has been voted the best and tastiest bockbier in the Netherlands multiple times: Best Bockbier 2010 and 2011, Tastiest Bockbier 2009, 2011 and 2012. Texelse Bierbrouwerij was acquired by Heineken Nederland in November 2020.
