Texels Vuurbaak — Dutch for lighthouse — is the strong ale of the Texelse Bierbrouwerij range, named after the lighthouse that has guided ships through the treacherous North Sea shallows to the safety of Texel for centuries. The lighthouse is one of Texel's most iconic landmarks — a beacon of safety and orientation in a sea that has claimed many ships and lives. The Vuurbaak beer matches the strength and reliability of the lighthouse itself: a full-bodied strong ale that stands out in the range and guides the drinker toward something more substantial and memorable than an everyday beer.
