Opened in 1976, the Icheon plant became the center of the Heineken-OB Joint Venture in 1981. It was here that Heineken masters worked alongside local brewers to implement the horizontal fermentation tanks required for the A-Yeast, ensuring the “Amsterdam taste” was replicated perfectly in Gyeonggi-do.
