Brand Pilsener

Beer Description

Brand Pilsener belongs to the historic Brand brewery of Wijlre in Limburg, one of the Netherlands’ most distinctive regional brewing identities. The modern pilsener tradition within Brand is tied to the post-war development of crisp, Czech-inspired lager brewing. Heineken acquired Koninklijke Bierbrouwerij Brand in 1989, bringing the beer into its Dutch portfolio while preserving Brand’s strong Limburg identity. Within the archive, Brand Pilsener represents regional Dutch lager pride: pale, filtered, bottom-fermented, softly malty, and cleanly bitter.
