Beer Description
Bedele Special is the premium variant of the Bedele range, brewed by Heineken Ethiopia at Bedele Brewery and Kilinto Brewery. At 5.5% ABV it is stronger than the standard Bedele and positioned as the brewery's special occasion beer. It uses a richer malt recipe with a caramel and bready character and a clean dry finish. The Bedele Brewery was state-owned until acquired by Heineken in August 2011 for USD 85 million.
