I’m sure this build could be tweaked a bit to make it better, but since it works so damn well as it is I haven’t tried changing anything. I’ve never been killed using this setup. I’ve never timed a run, but I know it’s less than 180 seconds from the time I revive the Urdars until the torch hits the ground. I’d say so far out of everything I’ve tried Uber Tristram with, this setup is the fastest and probably the least likely to get killed. The only real drawback to ubering with a Necro is that it’s sort of a pain in the *** creating games until the River of Flame is filled with Urdars. I think I read somewhere that its like 3 out of 7 games or something like that.
Statpoints distribution:
With Gear
Strength 195
Dexterity 78
Vitality 468
Energy 9120 unused stat points.
Basically just put everything in vitality. I added a few points to strength because I made a Spirit in a Monarch on the switch. You could definitely come up with enough strength points by socketing gear or adding charms to allow all points to be put into vitality.

75I’d imagine at this point most people reading this are probably thinking that’s awfully low for Ubers. As it turns out, you don’t ever really get hit, so resists really aren’t that important. I want to emphasize that I have NEVER been killed ubering with this setup.

Obedience – I made this in an Eth Cryptic Axe (crappy +20 resists)
COH – I made this in an AP. I’ll upgrade to Eth AP eventually
Kira’s socketed with an Um (+82 resists)Obedience is the best weapon choice for the merc because it has resistances and crushing blow. Resistances is the name of the game for the merc. You will probably have to give him a juvie or 2 when fighting Mephisto. He’s tough so you don’t need to pay very close attention though.

How to kill ubers with the above setup. I like to collect the organs in a separate game prior to ubering. I create games until I get one that has Urdars in the River of Flame. Once I’ve verified that the River is good to go, I’ll take a WP to somewhere else and let the merc kill something then corpse explode until I can raise an army of skeletons. Once I have skeletons, I’ll cube the keys. I take the portal to Duriel first. Cast Decrepify on him and the merc will kill him pretty quick. Then I take the portal to Izual. I just tele over to him. Cast decrepify on him, the army will kill some of the monsters around him. Just explode a couple corpses and Izual is all alone. The merc will make pretty quick work of him anyway. Duriel and Izual can’t kill the merc so no need for any Revives. Lillith is another story. Lillith can kill the merc, so she has to be treated a little differently. I normally tele until I find her, then bust out a TP. Take the wp to the River and kill about 6 or 8 Urdars. Revive them, take the WP back to Harrogath then head back in the TP. Cast Decrepify on Lillith, tele right on top of her then run back a half screen or so. The merc and the Urdars will beat the **** out of her in short order. Once I have organs, I make games until I get one that has Urdars in the River of Flame.Once in a suitable game I’ll summon an army of skeletons, mages, and a clay golem. Once I have an army, I’ll cube the organs. Then head to the River to collect an army of Urdars. I usually revive about 10 or 12 of them. Take the portal to Uber Tristram, immediatley switch weapons, BO and cast Bone Armor. Switch back weapons and tele around to lure out Mephistio. Separate him out then cast Decrepify on him and tele right on top of him then run back about a half screen. The merc and Urdars bust him up bad and fast. Cast Terror on any skeletons Mephisto summons. Watch the merc’s life and give him a juvie if his life turns yellow. He’s tough, but will probably need a juvie or two. Keep Mephisto Decrepified and keep casting Terror on any stray skeletons Mephisto summons. Urdars are stupid and may wander. If that happens, tele right on top of Mephisto and run back a half screen. That will keep the army right on top of him. Killing Mephisto probably takes about 15 seconds. I usually take on Diablo and Baal at the same time. Same strategy. Cast Decrepify on them, tele right on top of them the run back a half screen. Cast terror on anything lurking around. The Urdars and the merc will dominate Diablo and Baal. The merc doesn’t seem to have survivability issues against those two, so pretty much just sit back and watch the show. Probably takes about 20-30 seconds to kill them both.
Swap the Obedience for an Insight and the Kira’s for an Andariels on the Merc and you are all set for any other PvM Scenario. Amp Damage and Explode. Decrepify the bosses.
